A Few Cool Things I've Learned about Mexico (well, Puebla, at least)

1. When it rains, it pours. And floods.

2. There are street dogs everywhere. This is not the most heartwarming thing BUT I do enjoy having doggos around all the time.

3. Mexico is not afraid to call you out on your unhealthy eating and consumption habits. Each pack of cigarettes I've seen has a different photo of either a person dying of lung cancer with tubes in their throat, or sad, sick children, with the clear message that smoking kills. ALSO, the Health Secretary labels all food items with notable black octagons that say "excessive calories/sugar/sodium/fat" etc. You have to stare your health right in the face here. And people think Mexicans have unhealthy habits...

4. On time is early and late is on time. Being early is just... weird.

5. Vendors roam the streets and play loud recordings to advertise whatever they are selling. I think the milkman just honks, though, which I rather enjoy.

6. Did I mention the volcanoes? Gosh, I love it here.

Hasta pronto, mi querido México

It's my last week in Puebla, Mexico, and I don't do well with endings/goodbyes, so this might feel a little emotionless. I'll start...
