It's my last week in Puebla, Mexico, and I don't do well with endings/goodbyes, so this might feel a little emotionless. I'll start feeling the "feels" real soon, though.
I haven't posted as much on this blog as I thought I would/should. I think it is because I settled into living here so that the excitement of being in a new country wore off a bit, and I didn't feel as motivated to share about my experiences. But every day here has been a blessing--even the hardest days--and I am so, so grateful to everyone and everything that has made my Fulbright stay so wonderful.
Even the Popocatépetl, which is extremely active these days and has covered Puebla in volcanic ash. My classes are online this week (bummer!).
I made a little presentation about my experiences in Mexico for the Fulbright midterm reunion which I never got to go to due to that nasty stomach infection--and then I edited it today to present to a class as I wrap up at UPAM. Most of these pictures have been seen before, but I figured I'd share it here for everyone.
I might blog more this summer as I continue to reflect upon my nine months in Mexico (un embarazo de aprendizaje, as I like to say), but for now, I'm just so thankful.
Hasta pronto, mi querido México. Me has tratado muy, muy bien.
