1. The number of hours I spent waiting at the immigration office in Puebla before I finally got my tarjeta de residencia (green card): roughly 13 (over the span of three visits)

...but hey, I got it!

2. The number of students who have asked me if I like tequila: at least 6

3. The number of Mexican flags I have seen in various forms all over in preparation for Independence Day tomorrow: like, 1,000 at least

4. The number of times I have gotten sick of Mexican food: negative 0

5. The number of students I am expected to teach within the next year: about 900 (?!)

6. The number of times I want to eat mole: infinity!

(Huevos, mole oaxaqueño, tlayuditas con col y quesillo, frijol, y agua de melón. MMMMM)
